Pandemic – Board Game Review

Board Games: Pandemic

Synopsis:

In Pandemic, several virulent diseases have broken out simultaneously all over the world! The players are disease-fighting specialists whose mission is to treat disease hotspots while researching cures for each of four plagues before they get out of hand. The game board depicts several major population centers on Earth. On each turn, a player can use up to four actions to travel between cities, treat infected populaces, discover a cure, or build a research station.

My Opinion –

Pandemic is a word I feel many of us avoid these days, which is a pity because it may result in you missing gems like this board game.

Pandemic is a bit more complex than the board games I normally enjoy and has many many more moving pieces, so starting games can be a bit daunting, but it is all worth it.

The complexity is manageable and you will quickly get the hang of the systems the game employs, and once that has happened you can expect a ton of fun for yourself and your friends. Communication is key in this game and making sure that players work together rather than just pursuing individual goals is a must!

In conclusion, Pandemic is a great team building board game that may seem imposing at first, but quickly becomes a fun and enjoyable experience.
